You retain ownership of content you submit to RateMyRailway, including photos, descriptions, comments, and ratings. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content on the platform.
You agree not to submit content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy
- Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
- Spam, advertising, or promotional material not authorised by us
4. Content Moderation
All submitted layouts are subject to review before being published. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines. Moderators and administrators may approve, deny, edit, or delete content at their discretion.
5. Ratings and Reviews
Ratings should be honest and constructive. Manipulation of ratings, including rating your own layouts or coordinating fake ratings, is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
6. Account Tiers
The Service may offer different account tiers (Free, Supporter) with varying features and limits. Free accounts may have restrictions on the number of images per listing. We reserve the right to modify tier features at any time.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other accounts
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
- Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform.
